The Rotary Club of Talegaon Dabhade City distributed 30 large umbrellas to street vendors in Talegaon town and station area. The initiative aimed to support vendors selling vegetables, fruits, and other items, with priority given to those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who rely on street vending for their livelihoods. Ro Kiran Oswal, president of the Rotary Club, emphasized the importance of community service and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute positively to society. The umbrellas were received with heartfelt appreciation by the vendors, who highlighted their significance in providing shelter during rainy weather, which significantly impacts their ability to conduct business. The event was attended by several dignitaries including Vice President Ro Bhagwan Shinde, Former President and Co-Governor Ro Deepak Falle, Project Head Ro Pradeep Mungse, and other members of the Rotary Club, reinforcing the club's commitment to community welfare through such initiatives.
